I received my board yesterday, and It's already up and running. I'm using Twisted Pears WM8741 dac, but with a home made "super shunt regulated psu". The pinout was a bit different on the two boards, so I put the dac board vertically to make the wires as short as possible. I'm now experimenting with upsampled 24-bit/192kHz material. The WM8741 is running with low or no oversampling.

The initial impression is that the improvement compared to the PCM270x receiver is absolutely overwhelming. The differences are not subtle at all. Deatail is much better. Sound is much less harsh. Bass is so much stronger, tighter and deeper. I'm really happy with this upgrade, and I believe it's worth penny. Really looking forward to experimenting more with this wonderful device.
